Program Support Assistant (OA)
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Program Support Assistant for the Restorative Wellness Pain Clinic at the Marion VA Medical Center.
The position requires independent judgment, ability to maintain confidentiality, and highly effective interpersonal skills with patients through professionals to upper levels of management in local and community wide settings.
Work requires practical knowledge of administrative and clerical work and customer service.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
o Sets priorities and works effectively under pressure.
o Uses word processing software to execute several office automation functions such as writing, storing and retrieving electronic documents and files, etc.
o Provides administrative support for a program.
o Advises staff on record completion and documentation requirements.
o Validates data collected and creates reports out of the data for review by management.
o Provides customer service to patients, staff and other individuals.
o Collects, tracks, analyzes data and maintains spreadsheets, reports, graphs, etc.
for reporting.
o Maintain security and confidentiality of records, equipment and computer access.

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
