Physician (Psychiatrist)

The Marion, Illinois VA Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Psychiatrist to join the Behavioral Medicine Service Team with Marion Outpatient Health.
This position is located at the Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, IL.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
o Incumbent duties will include providing general clinical psychiatric services to Veterans and including on-call services.
o These duties include general psychiatric care of adult Veterans and may include, but are not limited to, conducting diagnostic evaluations, psychiatric consults, medication management, and individual or group psychotherapy.
o Psychiatrist may be expected to provide direct clinical supervision of mid-level providers, psychiatric advanced practice nurses or physician assistants and other staff as appropriate.
The work requires an administrative and practical knowledge as a Psychiatrist.
o The incumbent is required to exercise judgment in the selection of or adaptation of standard and accepted clinical theories, techniques, and practices in treating patients or developing new techniques and programs for the treatment of specialized problems or clinical populations.
Other services include, but are not limited to, treatment common patient diagnoses to include anxiety disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Major Depression and other mood disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and other Serious Mental Illnesses, Dementia, and mental disorder related to Traumatic Brain Injuries.
o The population served consists of female and male Veterans from all military eras.
o The Psychiatrist will establish professional working relationships with other clinical service providers within the Marion VAMC and outlying Community Base Outpatient Clinics (CBOCS) o The Psychiatrist shall be expected to cooperate with and participate in, medical duties or functions related to quality of care, peer review, improvement and with other performance improvement activities at the direction of the Chief, Behavioral Medicine Service and the Chief of Staff.
The incumbent will report to the Chief of Behavioral Medicine Service or designee.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:
00am to 4:
30 pm, with on-call rotation to include nights, evenings, and weekends.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
