Licensed Practical Nurse (Behavioral Health)
The Marion, Illinois VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurses to join the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (MH-RRTP) within Nursing Service.
The incumbent demonstrates the knowledge and ability to provide a full range of practical nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems under limited supervision.
The incumbent serves as a responsible member of the treatment team and interacts with patients, family members, professional and supportive personnel who provide patient care with members of other services.
The LPN also provides patient and family education, reinforces health teaching and takes an active role in promoting health lifestyles.
