Secretary (OA)
Duties include but are not limited to:
The incumbent will perform program support for the Associate Director, Patient Care Services in the Executive Office of the Medical Center Director.
Majority of responsibilities will encompass scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, coordinating meetings and conferences.
Attends meetings, transcribes notes, and arranges meeting space and support arrangements.
The selectee will perform timekeeper duties for the service, chiefs and report staff.
Also arranges travel for the Associate Director including car and hotel reservations and securing travel authority.
Process incoming and outgoing written materials.
The incumbent will edit, compose and review letters and reports for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborates with higher level officials to ensure that standards are met and goals are attained.
Ensures that all due dates and deadlines are met timely.
Advises supervisor of office issues and brings significant items in reports, files and correspondence to the supervisor's attention.

The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
