Material Handler (Motor Vehicle Operator)
This position is located in Logistics Service, Marion VAMC, Marion, IL.
Duties include but not limited to:
oReceive, check, store, issue, unpack, shelve and distribute all types of supplies and materials including equipment that is received in the warehouse.
oOperate various material handling equipment including manual and hydraulic pallet jacks, backhoe, bobcat, forklift and up to and including 2.
5 ton cargo truck for moving and/or making deliveries of customer shipment, surplus/excess items and equipment.
oPerform all functions incident to receiving and checking in shipments from vendors and other sources, including required input into computer system.
oShelve, organize, arrange, consolidate, relocated and properly store, stack and sort stock in established locations.
