Here at Timberline, our Horn Worms department is on the front lines of nurturing and harvesting the horn worms that our customers all over the world will use to feed their reptiles.
As a Horn Worms Caretaker, you will be a part of the entire life cycle process from harvesting eggs to assembling cultures.
You might be a great fit in Horn Worms if you enjoy a job where you can work with your hands and learn to do a variety of different tasks.
To work in Horn Worms, you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, squat, and move freely throughout the room for the entirety of your shift without limitations.
You must be comfortable handling and working around worms and other insects.
Job Description Some of the things that you will do as a Horn Worms Caretaker include:
Harvest, isolate, and set eggs.
Mix diet to be used as a food source in horn worm cultures.
Assemble cultures, adding diet and surface area.
Harvest horn worms to be packaged and sent to the customer.
Follow all instructions and perform other tasks assigned by the Manager.
Schedule The schedule for Horn Worms is a fixed day-shift schedule as follows:
Monday-Friday:
