By always maintaining a positive and professional attitude, and working to deliver excellent customer service that addresses all the customer's needs while getting them through the check-out process quickly and easily.

Primary Duties/
Responsibilities:
May operate the POS system and credit card machine, assist customers in answering questions.
Make customers a priority by greeting and acknowledging them as they enter the store, helping on the sales floor, and answering the phone within three rings with a professional greeting.
Operates the store cash register:
cash handling credit card transactions, appropriate discounts returns and cash register balancing.
Request assistance from managers for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.
Promotes retail sales, promotions, and special projects.
Stocks straighten, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of the store, to include sales floor, warehouse, and donation dock, in an efficient manner to adhere to Goodwill Retail Procedures.
Upholds cleanliness standards of the store by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and/or shining surfaces.
Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership.
Safeguards agency asserts including, cash, donated items, purchased items, from harm, damage, or theft.
Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of agency assets.
Must adhere to all MERS Goodwill policies and Goodwill Retail procedures as well as safety and security regulations.
All other duties as assigned.
