Responsibilities:
-Exhibit good communication to work cooperatively with a high performing dental team - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging software - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Manage and update patient records - Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory - Follow proper infection control protocols, including practicing aseptic technique - Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology - Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software - Experience with medical imaging software for taking and developing dental x-rays - Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality Note:
