Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred.
Professional experience and/or lived experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience working with individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of being homeless desired.
Experience working with behavioral health, substance use, crisis intervention, and domestic violence issues desired.
Individuals must demonstrate good communication, organizational, verbal and written skills.
Candidate must have strong knowledge of community resources.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
Candidate must be able to pass a background check.
Local travel is required, and candidate must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance that meets agency requirements.
General Statement of Duties:
The Case Manager will be responsible for providing supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to help reduce barriers to housing stability.
The Case Manager will conduct a needs assessment and service plan with each household and provide case management, life & financial skills counseling, advocacy, housing counseling, employment & education assistance and other services.

Position, hours and wages are dependent upon the availability of grant funding.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
