The primary focus of the Activation and Repair Technician is to provision new Enterprise customers within the Clearwave Fiber Network.
They will manage the day-to-day business process for that function as well as provide Tier Two Support for Residential and Enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities Pre-Provision accounts and equipment with accurate data fill and provide field support to the installer and customer through successful turn up.
Responsible for IP management including documentation accountability.
Ensure customer equipment is properly represented and closed in the billing system.
Provide data fill and technical support for all customer upgrades.
Provide Tier Two support for Enterprise and Residential accounts.
Support disconnects and suspensions.
Ability to appropriately communicate and manage escalations relative to customer delays of service, outages and impacts to customer service.
Problem solving and analytical skills required.
Effectiveness in providing feedback in a timely manner with strong communication and performance management skills.
Requirements:
Position Requirements Formal Education & Certification An Activation & Repair Technician requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and certification in Information Technology and related fields.
Equivalent experience in a similar role or function in the Information Technology industry and Technical Support can substitute for education requirement.
Knowledge & Experience Experience in routing and advanced networking technologies.
Experience with Juniper Strong problem solving and analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Network services experience is desired.
Proficiency in Windows and Mac networking configuration.
Personal Attributes Excellent oral communication skills, writing and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to interact with clients in a professional, articulate manner.
Ability to act with a sense of urgency and consistently demonstrate strong communication skills with supervisors and team members Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Strong collaboration and communication skills required.
