The work location can be in either Ohio or Illinois.
This is a key management role that requires not only high-level technical skills but exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.
As someone responsible for overseeing the execution of the Network's engineering initiatives and management strategy, the ability to effectively manage and cultivate an engaged and cohesive team is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS Must have sufficient university, college, and/or technical training to effectively lead a department of highly skilled and capable broadcast engineers and support staff.

years of increasing technical responsibility in a broadcast engineering environment required and 5
years of increasing management responsibility leading a role diverse technical staff.
Must be able to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule in support of our 24x7 multi-state broadcast infrastructure.
Must be a licensed driver in good standing.
SKILLS Ability to provide expert knowledge and implementation of installation, operation, maintenance, and repair procedures associated with state-of-the-art digital production studio and broadcast transmission equipment.
Ability to manage and mentor a high-performance team to ensure optimal organization outcomes, while developing individual career growth opportunities.
Knowledge and ability to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency within a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices, and make prudent recommendations to the Board of Directors for implementation.
Ability to prepare, track and report capital, expense, operating, and salary budgets.
RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the supervision of installation, operation, and maintenance of all studio and field equipment including studio, master control operations, and transmitters.
Lead the research, design, installation, repair, and maintenance of all television, digital, OTT, satellite, and terrestrial transmission systems, production environments, and associated equipment using current platforms and protocols.
Assist management in the maintenance of building facilities, including HVAC, power generation, telephone, and security systems.
Responsible for the compliance of all occupational safety, health, environmental, and broadcast operating regulations (OSHA, EPA, FCC, FAA, etc.
) Responsible for completing and maintaining all applicable FCC records and reports.
Responsible for the successful execution of engineering projects while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Responsible for collaboration with other departments, such as Legal, IT, Finance, Programming, and Traffic.
Responsible for motivating, managing, and supporting the development of a staff of professional and technical engineers, operators, and technicians.
Responsible for establishing and implementing engineering policies and procedures.
Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Work locations available in either Illinois or Ohio.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
