Dental Safari Company is seeking a motivated, organized and personable candidate to add to our current in-office team! Our well-established company is a 100% mobile dental corporation that provides Preventive Dental Services as well as Dental Treatment Services to kids (age 0-19) in Southern IL on location at their schools.
This position is in our Marion office, an administrative-only setting, and requires a friendly, team-oriented demeanor as well as professional and pleasant phone etiquette! Experience in dental office work, and/or a working knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance billing/receivables is HIGHLY PREFFERED.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Working with Open Dental software including patient data and insurance entry, scheduling, understanding charting, posting of insurance payments, etc.
Coordination of patient information and scheduling of dental treatments with parents of patients and/or school personnel.
Ability to use Microsoft Office 365, Excel spreadsheets, and email.
Use of Medi and Dental Insurance websites for verification and pre-certification of patient benefit eligibility.
